This Committee acts as the principal link between WYD08 and the Australian Dioceses as well as those in the front line of Youth Ministry. Parishes, schools, agencies and other organisations within a Diocese should contact their WYD08 Diocesan and Youth Ministry representative for information about WYD08.
The key purpose of the Committee is to maximise the positive impacts of WYD08 by interweaving the evangelisation and preparatory programs, the events of WYD08 week and the post-WYD08 legacy with the other activities of the dioceses and youth ministries to create a cohesive and re-enforcing set of initiatives that inspire the youth of the Church.
