WYD Cross & Icon
The most recognisable symbols of World Youth Day are the WYD Cross & Icon. The WYD Cross is a 3.8 metre by 1.75 metre wooden cross weighing 31 kilograms and the companion Icon Of Our Lady is a copy of the painting of Salus Populi Romani (Protectress of the Roman People)
