Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific (MBAuP) is delighted to be the official automotive partner of World Youth Day Sydney 2008 (WYD08).
MBAuP is the manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer for a range of long-established brands including Mercedes-Benz, smart, Maybach, Freightliner, Sterling and Fuso. The company's involvement with WYD08 will see a number of passenger cars provided in the lead up, during and after the event. This will be supported by the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle range, including buses and vans serving in specialised capacities. The fleet will be utilised to transport volunteers, officials, VIPs, clergy and other dignataries during the week-long event.
MBAuP's support of WYD08 is yet another way in which the company is committed to giving back to the community in which they operate. The company enjoys strong relationships with numberous organisations including the Banksia Environmental Foundation and the Australian Business and Arts Foundation as part of it's social responsibility philosophy.
